The Northern Modelling Exhibition is set to return to EventCity in March 2013.

From Saturday 2 March to Sunday 3 March, the Manchester venue will play host to hundreds of exhibits from across the modelling spectrum, from model boats, cars and planes, to live steam and electric model railways, and even rocketry.

The event organisers are encouraging hobbyists from all modelling and engineering backgrounds to attend the event, which showcases the cream of UK model making exhibitors from around the country, and is the largest of its kind for modellers in the North West of England.

Visitors young and old will be able to enjoy a range of demonstrations from the 40 modelling clubs and associations signed up to attend the 2013 show.

The first ever Northern Modelling Exhibition last year saw 7,500 visitors travelling to EventCity.

Avril Spence, exhibition manager at Meridienne Exhibitions, said: “The North is home to hundreds of keen modellers and hobbyists from all walks of life, and we are very excited to be able to bring them together under one roof for the 2013 Northern Modelling Exhibition.

“Last year’s event was a huge success and we are delighted to be able to bring it back to Event City.”
