Warco has introduced a new, improved WM 250V lathe. The WM 250 series of lathes have been among its best selling machines since launched. Now it comes with Delta inverter drive and AC induction motor, giving quiet operation. Ultra reliable long term performance is also claimed.

The AC motor means the WM 250V can now be run at full speed in reverse and it now has the ability to go as low as 30 rpm - ideal for thread cutting, with great torque in the low speed range.

It retains features of the popular previous lathe (WM 250VF)  including thread dial indicator, digital rev counter and 550mm between centres, as well as power cross feed.

Centre height is 125mm.  Spindle taper 4MT and bore 26mm. Maximum tool size 12mm.

Features include:

  1. Two speed bands allow maximum torque in the lower speeds

  2. Infinitely variable from 30 to 2200 rpm

  3. Double V-bedway - hardened and ground
