3D PRINT OF SWEET 16 TRACTION ENGINE
By Thomas van Hoek

Anthony Mount

I used Julius’ .PDF drawings, changed into PTC-Creo format and translated all into .STL files. I used the Cura slicer and Creality CR-5 Pro_H for printing.

This traction engine consists of (98%) 3D printed parts in PLA (Bronze and White).

Dimensions: L600mmxB300xH400mm.

Weight: 3.5 kg.

The model has more than 200 separate printed parts which are assembled with stainless steel fasteners and brass threaded inserts. No glue was used.

All moving parts can de driven by an E-motor/Tooth belt combination (Optional).
