Mike Tull’s well-known Bristol aero engines have found a new home so that they will be on regular view. The two Gold Medal winning 1/4 scale Bristol Mercury and the 1/3 scale Bristol Jupiter radial engines are on a long term loan to the popular Boscombe Down Aviation Collection Museum. The BDAC museum is located in Hanger 1 at (ex RAF) Old Sarum airfield, just a mile or two north of Salisbury in Wiltshire. The BDAC museum is open to the public on six days each week; closed on Mondays.

Mike reports: “The museum have generously provided a nice big display cabinet to showcase the development of the Bristol (BAC) poppet valve radial engines in the between wars era 1920s to 1930s.”
