From the MEWS archive, this 1/12 scale hermaphrodite wagon by Russell Spilman was photographed at a Brighton exhibition. Popular in Lincolnshire this unusual vehicle is half cart and half wagon. The complete four wheel version came into its own at harvest time to move bulky loads. It could later convert to just the two fore wheels and with the flat platform removed converted to a sturdy cart.
