KIDDIES’ STEAM

FIRE ENGINE

by Julius de Waal

Time to think about Christmas, and something for a child. That was the thought of old Curly back in the day, and he came up with a steam powered fire engine. These drawings by Julius de Waal are loosely based on Lawrence’s design, all in metric of course. But it can still be built from oddments, perhaps re-purposed wheels and Meccano gears. With some time to go before Christmas, solve one problem of the presents now! Part two here.
