LONG RUNNING
LTD STIRLING ENGINE

When this Low Temperature Difference (LTD) Stirling engine was photographed at a London Model Engineering Exhibition at Alexandra Palace it had been running for going on for 20 years making 387,000,000 revolutions, non-stop, apart from events such as cleaning and outings to exhibitions. It ran for 656 days prior to its visit to North London.
Power input is 4W and the effective working temperature difference is 1.1C
