Model of a Mk II Oerlikon 20mm gun on a fixed height Mk IIA cast pedestal. It was used as close range anti-aircraft ordnance by the Royal Navy on most units during World War II. The Oerlikon canon was the main armament of some coastal units. This model was displayed at a London Model Engineering Exhibition. The dummy shell is fitted to a brass case from the WW II battleship, HMS Nelson.
