ELEGANT SCROLL SKELETON CLOCK
John Wilding’s design for an elegant scroll type skeleton clock is the one that has introduced clock making into many a model engineer’s workshop. His book describing how to make it has run to six editions, the latest being the most accurate, complete with updated material suppliers list. It also includes a full size drawing of those wonderful frames for use as a template. The nice example from Kevin Woods pictured here at the Midlands exhibition includes the ‘one-at-the-hour’ striking. Only a small lathe is needed to make one of these attractive clocks. Budding ‘clockies’ out there will find all they need here.
