GH 18 Geared head machine

Warco has introduced a new gear head milling machine in response to customer demand for a compact machine with a geared head.

The GH 18 features:

  2. Oil immersed steel tempered gears

  3. Head elevates on dovetail slide ways allowing positive location over entire travel

  4. Tapered gibs on all axes

  5. Rack and pinion drill feed

  6. Calibrated fine feed

  7. Tilting head, calibrated 45º 0 45º

  8. Positive quill depth stop

  9. Forward and reverse

  10. Powerful 1 hp motor

  11. Table locks to X and Y travel

  12. Supplied with 13mm drill chuck

WM 16B Belt driven machine


The Surrey firm has also introduced a belt drive machine, the Warco WM 16B. With traditional belt drive system, this machine has all the updated benefits of the dovetail column associated with gear headstock mills. It has a Poly V-belt drive for positive smooth vibration free operation and a low speed belt setting from maximum torque in the low speed range.
