Pictured at Bristol and Midlands shows this Burrell 5 ton compound showman’s is another of the fine models largely in wood seen in recent times. Built in 1:6 scale it occupied 1,200 hours over a year for George King.

It is 778mm long, 286mmm wide and 501mm high. It was made from 2,658 parts: 873 components, 1,307 rivets, 478 nuts and bolts.
