BUILD A BURRELL PROJECT
The Steam Apprentice Club is a branch of the National Traction Engine Trust, set upon 1979 to cater for young people up to the age of 21 interested in road steam. This active club completed a project to teach its members about the construction, working, operation and maintenance of traction engines. It purchased a 1:3 scale kit which members have built at their ‘build a Burrell’ workshop.
