The National Model Engineering and Modelling Exhibition, now colloquially ‘Doncaster’, has now settled well into its excellent new location, and for the 27th time attracted good crowds, busy traders and some fine models. It is difficult to understand why the numbers of competition models are not higher - very many of those on the club stands looked to be probable award winners had they entered the competition.
In this report, we look, in random order, at some of the models that will also feature as individual articles later on. Next time we will bring some more which caught the eye.
