LADY STEPHANIE BEAM ENGINE RE-VISITED

Part 2/2 by Julius de Waal

Tubal Cain was one of the great designers of model steam engines, and one of his most popular was Lady Stephanie, a small pumping beam engine as used on estates. The model design was first published in the early 1980s and many have been built from available castings. Photos of built examples on modelengineeringwebsite.com, plus a GA drawing, inspired Julius to re-visit the design in a larger scale, in metric and designed for fabricated construction.

Although drawings reproduce well on this website, they are even better as saved downloads.
