Exhibitions may be a bit smaller these days, but they still are a great day out. As ever, London 2020 at Alexandra Palace provided the visitor with plenty to admire, and not just fine examples of model engineering by the likes of Cherry Hill, but also work by young engineers and amazing club displays. Clubs like the Surface Warship Association (above) and the SMEE (below) do so much for the hobby with their super efforts at exhibitions, while the negative ones stay at home.
