SUPER LONDON 2020 EXHIBITION
Part one - the locos - photos by Roger Froud

Exhibitions may be a bit smaller these days, but they still are a great day out. As ever, London 2020 at Alexandra Palace provided the visitor with plenty to admire, and not just fine examples of model engineering by the likes of Cherry Hill, but also work by young engineers and amazing club displays. There was so much in the loco works display by the Harlington Locomotive Society, that it forms a separate article. Clubs like Harlington (below), Gauge 1 (above) and  the SMEE do so much for the hobby with their super efforts at exhibitions, while the negative ones stay at home.

Here is a selection of Roger’s photos, in no particular order.
