Shortly after starting the serial by Vince Cutajar on building the USS Monitor engine, MEWS was delighted to receive these drawings from Julius de Waal. They are for a double sized version. As with the smaller casting-free version, it can be made from bar stock, albeit at a much higher swarf production rate.
